In late June 2003 I was at 232 lbs my health was at risk, as I have high blood pressure. I strongly set my mind to losing weight, walked everymorning rain or shine for 45 minutes and started my own diet which consisted of any and all low fat foods, lots of salads w/ fatfree dressing and lots of water. By September '03 I was down to 165.
I dropped the ball on the diet, still watching what I ate (watching it go right in my mouth, haha). I kept off the weight for 2 years, however the last 2.5 years I have maintained 175.
For the last 6 months I keep gaining and eating almost hitting 190 lb. I am ready to take off the weight and keep it off, that is why I choose the South Beach Diet.
