I am a 38 year old single mom and I have always been over weight but NEVER to the extent that I am now. I gave up smoking 6 years ago and I have been on a constant incline ever since. I do manage to lose weight a lot but then I lose focus and put it all back up with interest. I found the GI diet very good for me and I lost a fair bit of weight but I also found it impossible to maintain it. So this time I am just doing my own thing which so far is working just fine. I realise that with the goal weight I have put up here I will still be over weight but it will bring me back to where I have always been and from there we can lower is and work on lowering it more. I did not want to set the loss at too low as I would never see much progress and I am a person that needs to see it to maintain the will power to continue. I will take all the help and support and advice I can get and will try to return the favour to those who need it.
