Too tired to cook + McDonald's = Savvy Calorie Intake!
Way to go! I went there one day with my kids. (we don't go out to eat very often.. this this was a treat for all of us) I had a hamburger a small fry and a parfet (sp) and I think it was around 500 calories.

If you need encouraging words to get you through today.....
I think we all have days that feel like our first day.. even though it may be our 100th day or our 10th day.

If you need encouraging words to get you through today.....
To anyone who needs few encouraging words.....

Today may be someones first day. Today may be someones lowest day.. they realize that they hate the way they look. They see that number on the scale and think "how am i going to do this?"

In April that was my day. It was my lowest day. I reached a number on that scale that I hadn't seen other than being pregnant. I was closer to 300 pounds. I saw myself in 10 years and it wasn't pretty. I chose to stop. I chose to do something. I knew it was going to be the hardest damn thing I have ever done. It is harder than rasing 2 boys. It is harder than having money problems, vehicle problems, marriage problems. It is harder than being on my feet for 10 hours a day for days a week while I work in surgery. It is harder than assisting a surgeon on a open belly case (which I do.. Surgical tech is my job).

I see people on here who obess over a 10th of a pound. I have done this enough times to realize that I am not going to do that. I have come to realize that I love my body. I have stretch marks and sadly yes I have come to realize they are part of me. I see now my long legs that are taking shape. I see my face.. thinner. My shoulders are beautiful. My hips... ehhh not so much .. YET!

Today may be someones first day. It may be there lowest day. If today is your lowest day. You have a friend. I am. I will be your friend. I will give you an encouraging word when you need it.

Just start moving. Just drink water.. as much as I hated drinking water compared to my beloved Mt. Dew. DRINK WATER.

I have so much more to lose... but I know that where I started.. I thought I can't do it. Here I am 3 months later and yes I am doing it. I will do it tomorrow and the next day and the next.

Anyone Using Sensa?
I have been using it.. but not consistantly. I am still losing though. With diet and exercise. I have to get more strict on using it. It doesn't make anything taste odd. It just signals your brain that your eating and that you are full.
