My name is Jessica. I am 33 years old and live in the north suburbs of Minneapolis MN. I have a husband, dog, child (age six) and house. I work 10 hour days, do alot of activities with the family, and really am the worst carb snacker ever. I had gastric bypass surgery about 5 years ago and lost alot of weight. However, my habits didn't change and so I gained alot back. My goal now is to eat healthy, exercise and try to get back on track. Lots of big goals for such a person as myself. I have learned that I cannot control my eating and thus there is no such thing as one bite. I know in AA world they said 1 drink is too many and 1000 is not enough. To me, treats and bad foods work the same.

Veggie burgers
I cannot recall the brand but I believe it is Garden Nature or something similar. Anyway, like stated above, you can see the variety of veggies in it and it gives it a wonderful flavor. I buy them at a store called Costco in Minnesota. If you are in Michigan or WI probably get them at Sam's club, or Meyers. If you are vegan, this may not work, but there are also turkey burgers that are good. Midwest has stores called Trader Joes with a huge variety of vegan alternatives I like, including a soy mix (looks like a cake box) that is awesome for tacos or sloppy joes.

Food Calories vs Exercise Diary
I see how many calories I am taking daily by keeping my food diary and I see how many kcaolries I am 'burning' on my exercise diary. I am wondering if the calorie counts are 1 for 1. Meaning, If I eat 2500 calories but my exercise total is 2200 kcaloric, did I burn 2200 of the calories i ate? any ideas welcomed
