I'm 46, married, mom to three adult children and two dogs. I have been a yo-yo dieter for 20 years and I am back at trying to throw the yo-yo out!!!I have lost and gained weight more times than I can count.

For a long time I was convinced I was sick. I was tested for auto-immune disease and the results would come up inconclusive. It drove me crazy! Well, crazier. I struggle with depression and anxiety, but am hopeful that eating clean (80%) is the real key to feeling better mentally and physically. But lately I have been slacking in the good food choices, so it's time to re-focus.

Well, that's my updated story. I better get to it!

To coffee or not too coffee
I am not anti-caffeine however I do not drink much coffee any longer mainly because I like it light (lots of cream) and sweet (lots of sugar) or those sweetened flavored creamers like coffee-mate or international delights...my mouth is watering...back to my point. I came across this tidbit in an article about foods to eat and avoid for children with ADHD and of course they anre the same foods EVERYONE should eat and avoid here's what it said about caffeine minus the ADHD part...

AVOID: Caffeine
Caffeine pulls minerals out of the bone, when your body lacks the natural level of minerals it needs to function. Coffee, tea and other caffeinated drinks are acidic and lower the natural pH of the body, says Zimmerman, making it work harder to find a natural balance.

Mayonaise Substitute
Hummus is a delicious substitute. I also use Laughing Cow light garlic & herb cheese wedges, only 35 calories and 2 grams of fat. They too taste delicious on sandwiches.

Salad Dressings
A friend of mine turned me on to rice vinegar. The brand is Nakano and they are 15-20 calories, 0 fat, 5g sugar per tablespoon and come in many varieties like garlic, pesto, red pepper, balsamic. I think they're delicious. You could even mix them with olive oil, too.

Mrs. Fields muffins
http://calorielab.com/restaurants/mrs-fields/178

You peaked my curiousity. I've been surfing and it seems that Mrs.Fields MINI muffins are the ones you are describing above. The full size muffins range from 340-420 calories and about 25 gr of fat because they are more like 105g in size?weight?.
Hope this clears up the confusion.
