sphagetti squash
sphagetti squash is produce you can get at your supermarket year round. In a half of cup of sphagetti squash there is only 7 grams of carbs as opposed to the average pasta there is 41 grams of carbs, I ate this for the first time last night and it was delicious, every supermarket usually has a nutrition book in the produce section which tells how many calories and carbs are in the food. In my supermarket it actually tells how to cook and prepare. in case yours doesnt you wash and poke several times with a fork bake on cookie sheet or shallow pan at 350 degrees for 45 min to an hour, dont overbake, it will tend to become watery, bake until tender when pricked with a fork, cut in half the long way and the squash will look like pasta noodles just scrape out with a fork and serve with your favorite sauce.
