I started my weight loss journey in November of 2010. Weight was 190, and it was a few months after having my twins (babies #3 & 4). I did Weight Watchers off and on for a while and had some success (about 15 pounds), but realized that I need to count every calorie (I love fruit and eat a lot of it).

My goal is to eat mostly whole foods, organic foods when we can afford it. We have 4 young kids and I am trying to limit their junk/processed food and teach them to eat this way as well. But that is easier said than done!

I love this website! Tracking my food/exercise keeps me on track and the forums give you some great ideas.

Must you eat after working out?
I'm definately not working out in a fasted state, usually eat a meal (with plenty of protein) least an hour before. Thanks!

Must you eat after working out?
I work full-time and have 4 young kids, so the best time for me to workout is around 8pm (after all are in bed). I mostly do Jillian Micheals workouts at home. My question...do you recommend that I eat a little something after working out for muscle recovery? I usually don't because it so late, but I am wondering if I should save some calories for after the workout? Your thoughts?
