performance: losing 3.5 lb a week
I am a mother of two beautiful children, 8 and 4, and a preschool teacher of 3 year olds! I feel like I have been on and off diets for my whole life. I have lost weight in the past only to gain it back and be here again. Basically, if I am not keeping track of my food I am bingeing. I love sweets and carbs and could eat a truckload of them and look for more.
My favorite diet is Weight Watchers, because you don't have to cut out any one food. I have tried Atkins before but couldn't stay on it. At my highest I weighed 225 (not pregnant). Two years ago I reached my goal weight of 155. It felt great! Slowly I began to make poor choices and slipped back into my old ways. The weight came back on and I feel like I could be 225 again very easily.
I really want to make a life change and stop this yo-yo of gaining and losing weight. I am trying to eat healthy snacks and cut out most sugar and desserts (besides my WW bars at night!) It is hard being a preschool teacher, we have snacks in class all the time and are always celebrating something. Right now I am just practicing saying 'No Thankyou'!
