I am 51 and started on my weight loss journey in 2002. I lost 65 pounds on Atkins and lost focus to continue losing. I did keep the weight off although I bounced up and down a bit over the past 8 years. I am now back to lose the rest. I am on the Candida diet version of Atkins.
That means my diet is mostly veggies, lean meats and EVOO and coconut oil. No sweeteners, no processed foods, no grains, no dairy no fruit.
I feel terrific, have great bloodwork, and am losing about a pound a week. I am also a member of ADBB.
