Current Weight:(28 Mar 13) 172.0 lb
Goal Weight:124.0 lb
following: Atkins
performance: losing 0.3 lb a week

Ive been on the atkins many times. I first lost 60lbs, and inpired lots of people at work to do the same- but no one wanted to listen about the supplements. Its VERY important. Any way I actually stopped initially because my friends got an intervention together and asked me to. I was 15 to 20 lbs from my goal weight-5'4" medium frame. I think they thought i was on drugs 'cause i lost the weight SO FAST that it scared them.So now I've been flexing between 140 where they asked me to stop and 160,(or so). Now Im getting older and screw them, I would rather flex between 115 and 130 than what ive been doing for the last 8yrs. can I getta HEYYYYYYY-A

ketogenic diet info.
I found this and am going to look for the book so I can get the skinny on the weights and training section that isn't included in this excerpt. so far this seems to be the most complete compilation of testing and other info that most people would have questions on when it comes to a low carb- high fat diet for weight loss enjoy http://books.google.com/books?id=JtCZBe-2XVIC&pg=PA116&lpg=PA116&dq=ketosis+and+caffeine&source=bl&ots=dNMMd1COCE&sig=QAFx5XOAt5P9bkle2T362bV7Tq4&hl=en&sa=X&ei=BZEUUNCgDsilqQHXm4GgDQ&ved=0CFsQ6AEwBA#v=onepage&q=ketosis%20and%20caffeine&f=false

a good rule of thumb is if you are still on the induction- it is better to count ALL carbs and stay under 20. after the two weks you can kinda push things around A LITTLE, but dont get comfortable doing that or you WILL develope bad habits that are hard to break. don't worry- you will get comfortable when you start getting creative- check out people cook books.Wink

The good thing is that fiber cancels out carbs,(for the most part-sararay can help you more on this , i think) I usually go by handfulls of salad, or a fist size of brocoli. It is also normally accompanied by a table spoon or two of psyllium husk, for added sedation. The fiber isn't the 'absorbable' kind, plus if you are reading current litereature about it, Fiber can actully take like 6 extra "fat" calories with it when it leaves yer bodeh! so that's nice ,too. So keep carbs in mind - but, note the fiber content too,(and scowl at the sugar alchols- i don't believe when they say its ok- they are just not natural!)

alkaline water
has anyone else, "sararay", heard about drinking a more alkaline water to help flush fat / ketones from the system easier?
