My name is Tracy and I am 41 year old wife and mother of one. She is off to college this year and I am reshaping my life and habits. I have been between forty and sixty pounds overweight for many years now and was a smoker for 25 years. Thankfully I have been a nonsmoker for almost three years now and I am starting to learn to really breathe. My husband and I have taken up skiing and mountain biking and I want to be able to do those things without being uncomfortable or out of breath from the fat around my middle. So I am on a mission, to get fit and begin to feed my body what it needs. I think this site is a wonderful tool and have really enjoyed being able to record everything and see it all in one place to show my progress. It is nice to be able to see that I am not alone in this struggle for weight loss and health. I am looking forward to the journey as well as the destination.

I want to be in better health when I am fifty than I was at thirty or forty! It is time to start really living!
