Hi, I'm Gráinne (pronounced Grawn-ya). I'm at university, and despite taking up rowing (which has been an amazing way for me to keep fit, learn a new sport and make a bunch of new friends) I've still managed to put on about 20lbs over the past two years!

So I'm here to change that. Wish me luck!

I'm currently on a year abroad in a German university, hence some of the crazy food in my diary. I'm having a great time and some amazing experiences in a wonderful country, and most importantly perfecting my language skills!

My First 5k Run...
Hey all!

So I've just signed up to do my first 5k run! And it's all for a good cause - for Cancer Research!

It's called Race for Life and it's a women-only event. I'm doing it with my best friend and I'm excited but nervous at the same time!

I've set up an online sponsorship page, I don't know if you guys will be able to sponsor me (although you're more than welcome to try! Very Happy

) but you can see my progress and how much money I've raised so far...

How much does it cost to use the gym where you are?
Cool.
Thanks for your responses so far.

I pay £3.75 to use my local swimming pool, while my mum pays £4-something for where she goes.
I just wondered how much difference there was for you

Hey there everyone.

I was just wondering while I went swimming earlier.
How much would you pay (roughly) for a gym membership in the U.S (or in other countries too!).

And also, how much would you pay for a swim session at your local pool?
