I am a first and formost a child of God. I am blissfully married for 15 almost 16 years. I have a desire to change my eating habits and hope weight loss falls into place with those changes. I have developed a concept I call "Intentional Eating" and it focuses on enjoying ALL foods not just "diet" foods" I have been successful thus far, so I am gonna stick with it until I need to change!

Personal Trainer?
I had a trainer for a year. He was more a body builder, and he pushed me and I feel it was good because I would go to the gym...BUT he was not about cardio and in that year I asked for a diet (many times) and he never wrote one. Which annoyed me. I did get pretty toned, but my weight never really went down a lot because I was building muscle. I think I would be careful who you hire, there are a lot of trainers that got the job because they have good genes and can look fit. They may not know one thing about how to tailor a workout to meet your goals. Here is a sure sign of that kind of trainer, watch the trainer for a while and see if they do the same thing with every client (male and female) if so... don't hire them. Check references and ask if they have any formal training in fitness... I hope you find a perfect match. They can be invaluable or a complete disater so tread lightly, dont sign up for a long term contract until you are sure your trainer is going to meet your needs.
