I have always had a weight problem—the doctor prescribed skim milk when I was six! I topped out at 213 lb. when I first started college, and that's when I decided to really do something about it and managed to get down to 128 lb. Since then, I have yo-yoed so many times that I'm sure that pounds lost could have created several more people! However, I have never gotten above 175 lb. My husband has been very supportive over the years and, thank goodness, loves me no matter how much I weigh. However, I like me better when my weight is down and have really worked on it this summer, with my first goal being to get to 118, and once I reached that, set my goal at keeping my weight within three pounds either way of 118. It's hard—I love to eat!!! Recording my weight on FatSecret has helped. I also write my weight down on a calendar every morning and record it on my Striiv app--that keeps me more aware of my daily weight so that I know what and how much to eat any given day. It's good to have the support of others on FatSecret!

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I have been weighing daily for so many years, that it bothers me when, for whatever reason (e.g., traveling), I can't start my day with a weigh in. On a couple of our long trips, I even took a small scale along with me!

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
Everyday, first thing in the morning. If I don't, it's too easy not to be careful about what I eat.
