Work, too much drinking while entertaining clients, and marriage (pampered too much by the wife) contributed to the largest weight gain in my life. I have diligently been making my daily fatsecret entries, and now I am definitely hooked. This site and its respective communities are a true gift to anyone trying to lose weight. It's simple yet provides a nice structure for beginners, like me to set goals and succeed. I have learned an awful lot due to this site as well other great sources. I am very grateful for all the nutrition and health related information I have received so far. Still trying to gain more expertise but it is a long journey.

I found inspiration right after some "good" depression when my wife and I went to Hong Kong for a vacation. The food there was just too good. Ate way too much, but I don't even regret it. However, I didn't like the feeling of being so overweight and uncomfortable. Saw a lot of tributes to Bruce Lee (the fitness nut)in Hong Kong, and couldn't help but get inspired to get fit.

With this inspiration to get fit, along came an invitation to join a weekend club baseball team. Imagine, organized baseball at my age? It was seriously a dream come true. Fatsecret has helped me get in better shape, and now I just want to produce on the diamond. So it's been a lot of fun. Good Luck Everyone.
