Anyone here get heartburn regularly?
I don't know if this will help you, but I used to get terrible stomach pain until I gave up caffeine, most dairy and meat products. My acid stomach is totally gone now. I also take a good pro-biotic. I haven't needed an antacid since and I used to take pills daily with no relief Smile Also if it's stress related try relaxing each day especially before meals. I also found that activated charcoal really helped, but watch out if you take any other medications since it can interfere with a lot of things.

Anyone Know?
When I used to go to an acupuncturist I was told the same thing. I think the the reason was because it was better for digestion. I do find that when I drink lot's of ice water I am more prone to an acid stomach then when I drink room temp or hot water(tea). But my bf drinks exclusively ice water and has no stomach problems so i guess it's all depending on the body.

Yes I can drive, that isn't a bad idea at all. At least it would get me out more! <I'm not too injured to work I just work from home so any opportunity to see other humans is good haha Smile

Thanks! And yes I totally agree with you, pushing a back injury is the worst thing you can do for recovery. I've had a lot of back problems since I was a kid just because I have a bad back this time it was bad luck. I know the importance of being patient with my body and how to be aware of my spines limitations and know (almost always) when i need to stop. The only difference is I have felt a bit more restricted during this recovery because I live in an apartment now and don't have access to say a treadmill or things like that.

Back injury exercise help!!
Hi, i'm new here and I was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas for exercise. I had a pretty bad back injury a few months back mostly in my neck and have only got the okay from the doc. to start walking for 15-30 minutes a day a few weeks ago. The problem is it's been below butt freezing cold out and I need to find something else I can do on days it's just too chilly to walk. I try to do some simple yoga stretches everyday but would like to try to find something else to add to the routine.
