Hello, I am Cindi, from the Pacific Northwest. Been here all my life, used to the seasons - cold rain, rain, sun, windy rain. LOL. No, I appreciate the rain, so we stay green here.
Anyway, I have been heavy most of my life, until I was about 22 or so, and took Phen/Fen. Dropped 65lbs! Then it was pulled from the market, so to retaliate, I gained over 100 lbs. That will show them. J/K.
I have been married for over 23 years, of course there have been issues, but we have managed to persevere. (Ok, we almost divorced last year, he decided he wanted to live a "party like a rockstar" life, and I didnt) But we made it through, so all is good. He met me when I was overweight, but now I am even bigger. But I am doing this for me, it is my life, and I need to be here and available for our daughter, more than I have been.
Ok, I am rambling, just wanted to let you know a little about me, I'm 47, tall and big - but will be smaller this time next year, I guarantee it!!

Just joined!
Welcome!!! I have been on this site for a little over a month, and I mostly just record my eating and weigh in. I do a lot of stalking, too. LOL. I LOVE THIS SITE, there are many amazing people here, and I get lots of motivation from reading!

Hi Marcia adn Kim! I am also back to Atkins. I have lots of weight to lose, and this time I am going to have the Atkins way of life work wonders for me. I am lucky, I have never been a real 'carb addict', but I did lots of mindless snacking at work, so I have lots of weight to take off. But I am ready, as it sounds like you both are!!! If you don't mind, I will send buddy requests, would love to share ideas, tips and tricks!
