Hi there! My name is Cindy, I am 52 years old and in a great relationship with a wonderful man for the past (almost) nine years! I have two amazing, well adjusted, successful children and their spouses are equally as awesome. I have a grandson that is 3 1/2 going on 17!

The most important things in my life are my already mentioned family, my terrific friends, myself and then my job.

I have a wonderful group of friends - each one has impacted my life in one way or another and have made me the woman I am today. Some have been in my life for close to 40 years - I have been fortunate to earn their friendships through the years. With all of our busy lives, sometimes we don't get to talk that often, but when we do, it's as though we had just spoken the day before. They are my "sisterhood of friends" and I couldn't imagine my life without them.

I am a 911 dispatcher for a large suburb outside of a huge city. I love my job and have loved it for the last 10 years. I work with a wonderful team (envision a triangle at this point) and they are as much family as they are my friends! We spend a lot of time together and we know each other better than we know ourselves!

Struggling with weight-loss has been an issue for most of my life. I am working on making this the last fight - I am planning on making it to the finish line and crossing it! I have a fantastic prize waiting for me at the end...a healthy new me.
