Does rest time count?
So, I just added jumping rope to my cardio repertoire, and I'm trying to figure out how to calculate calories burned (without a heart rate monitor). I was alternating 1 minute of jumping with 1 minute of rest for 20 reps. What I'm wondering, is in calculating calories, do I count that as 20 minutes, or 40? Does the rest time count?
Thanks!

RDI question
Thanks! That's pretty much the way I've been doing it. Do you use the minimum RDI as the number of calories you shoot for to maintain, or to lose weight?

RDI question
Hey all, I'm wondering how the activity level on the RDI calculator works. If my activity level fits the description for "Very Active," which it does, my RDI is somewhere around 3000 calories.
What I'm wondering is whether I should choose "Sedentary," then add my exercise into the log and base my diet on those numbers? Or should I choose "Very Active?" And if I choose "Very Active" do I still put my exercise into the exercise diary?
Hopefully that made sense! Any clarification would be appreciated!
