hey :)
i'm eighteen, 5"9' and weigh 120lbs. i joined fatsecret at the start of the new year and i'm wanting to get to my goal weight for the summer.
i'm terrible with exercising, I really hate it and find it hard to find time to work out (crap excuse i know)!
a buddy with a similar goal weight to me would be realy helpful to share tips with etc.

...and that's not me in the picture btw!

As much as it's true that emaciated people aren't healthy and their body shapes aren't something we should aspire to, it's not fair to imply that this is through stupidity. Anorexia is an illness, sufferers don't "know better" they're controlled by the disease.

Just thought i'd get that off my chest.

Thanks Jayne and Katana for your advice - i remember when my BMI was around 16 my periods stopped for around 7 months then took a year to get back to a normal cycle- which was kinda bad. so my body fat must have been too low then.

As for skinnybitch books, yeah its just a book about veganism.. but they made a f##k load of cash marketing it as a diet book- good for them!

That seems really scary to think that the ideal is to have quarter of your body weight as FAT!
