I have yo-yo'd before trying everything from Atkins to Slow/Fast Carb protein diets and even the Sacred Heart Soup Diet. I must say that the FatSecret app for my BlackBerry has made this easy. I workout 4 days and week and find that one the days I do workout I drop atleast 1 lb while i average .4 lbs lost on the days I don't work out. My key has been adjusting my RDI and planning my day based around that. There are other sites out there that do a better job of calculating your RDI for weight loss. The one thing I like is that I am no longer afraid of carbs, but I do respect them. On days when I am working out, I find that I need to ingest almost double the carbs versus the days I don't workout. This is the best "diet" tool I have ever used because it has become a lifestyle tool that is portable.
