I am a 53 year old single woman (divorced in 1988 after 10 years of marriage). I have one son who will turn 28 in November. I live alone in a two-bedroom apartment with a female cat named Mimichou. I work for one of the major banks and have been there for over six years. Some of my favorite interests include any kind of singing and/or dancing, Zumba, walking, nature...I used to weigh 217 lbs. (Leap Year weight, 2008). I lost 60 pounds in about a year but now it's starting to creep back up on me (172 lbs. on 10/19/11). I want to stop this trend before it gets out of hand and continue until I reach a weight of about 140 lbs.
Why I Want To Get In Shape
I'd like to feel and look better, happier, stronger. I want to "get my groove back" and all that. I want to take better care of myself and improve my lifestyle as much as possible. I'd like to fit back into my favorite "Size 16" jeans from the 70's (which is equivalent to about a size "8" jeans right now! I want to be BEAUTIFUL, inside AND out!
I want to feel great and look as good as I feel (for someone of my age)
I'd really like to sleep better and have more abundant and consistent energy
I want to be able to develop the stamina to improve my strength
I've been thinking about maybe "dating" again...
