I just learned of this site and am post-menopausal for over 10 years, went through depression, weight gain and suicidal thoughts but thankfully with the Lord's help have overcome the depression and suicidal thoughts but not the weight gain. Recently went to an herbalist and he recommended a candida cleanse since I have cravings I can't control, weight gain, allergies and other issues. I've read a lot about nutrition so I feel that I've educated myself in that area however, there's so much to learn and going to this herbalist opened my eyes as to what I was putting in my body. I'd encourage anyone if they have the opportunity to see a herbalist to go, he may put your metabolism back on track. It's not always about exercise, it may be the kinds of foods you are eating and the candida overgrowth that is keeping you from losing weight. Bless all of you!

Xylitol? does anyone know?
Candida overgrowth is the main cause for cravings and I am going to my herbalogist and going through the candida cleanse to rid my body of candida overgrowth. Then I am having my mercury filled amalgam fillings replaced in my teeth and then he will take me through the heavy metal detox. Can't wait!

Xylitol? does anyone know?
There is so much information about xylitol online, I just did a search for it. My herbalogist recommends xylitol for any sweetening as it has so many benefits including keeping candida growth down.

Xylitol? does anyone know?
I just bought a book online called 'Sweeten your life the Xylitol way' by Karen Edwards from allbookstores.com. Apparently it has recipes sweetened with xylitol.
