Thirty something food lover. Just went through a TON of life changes in the past two years and several injuries, which added up to being too busy to cook more wholesome foods and too busy and/or in too much pain to exercise regularly. I have done Atkins (14 years ago) and Perricone (5 years ago) in the past with excellent results. I am highly educated on both, if anyone has questions or concerns on either. Currently, I have discovered Paleo, which happened to match my ideals and approach rather well, especially given the hypoglycemic episodes I have had in the past year. I have become very well educated on that, as well, if anyone has any questions or concerns they want to discuss, including a 3-4 step program, if jumping right in looks too difficult.

Is anyone aiming for a NO Sugar diet?
I have just started on no added sugar, focus on good fats, and minimally processed foods (step 1 to Paleo). I have all the fruits and veggies I want. I lost 5 lbs in 2 weeks and I haven't even been able to exercise because of my back. Never heard anything about nightshade vegetables so I had to read up on that. That's interesting, but it doesn't sound like they need to be 100% avoided. From what I gathered, they are just ones you want to get organic and local so that you are not getting something that was prematurely picked.
