Having lost 100 lbs already and slowly started regaining, I am on a mission to lose this unwanted fat once and for all! Mostly I want to gain a healthy, working relationship with food and fitness. Life is too short to be unhappy. Being over weight and uncomfortable with myself makes me unhappy!

I refuse to be unhappy with myself anymore.

Diet Soda - HELP
I totally love diet Pepsi....I can go without for a while but inevitably I end up buying some. I limit it by drinking seltzer water and adding a 1/2 cup of orange juice. This gives me the carbonation and some flavor. BUT I still drink the diet once in a while. My biggest concern over the diet drinks is the chemicals used to make it "diet." I have a feeling it's not so good for us to be putting into our bodies.

Jogging at a slower speed
I have the same problem. I just enter the option available on this site and don't stress about the exact accuracy. The important thing is that you are exercising. You could make notes for that day if you want to keep specifics for your own goal setting.

accepting body changes
I've lost 100lbs. It does shrink quite a bit. But I still have a bit of a "flap" as you call it. I've read a lot about it. What I read tells me that it can take a long time to shrink as much as possible....like years. So be happy with your progress. Keep exercising and let your body do what it can.

Those stubborn last 10lbs + HIIT versus steady state training
I'm having the exact same issue...those darn last 10 lbs. I just started aiming for way more protein and way less carbs. It is working already because my midsection is shrinking.
