Fast Facts:
I am in my early 40s, female & live on the West Coast of Canada (Vancouver area). I am 5'1", spiritual but not religious, a musician (singer/songwriter) and have been known to grace the stage of burlesque dancing. I love loud music (slipknot) & classic rock (led zeppelin, acdc). I am a nature/outdoors enthusiast and a fan all things to do with horror, dark fantasy, goth, myth etc. I have no children but have been ttc for what seems like forever (pretty much sure it's never going to happen at this point). I have 2 cats & 2 ferrets.
My long drawn out history:
Up until my late 20's I was always consistently under weight. Once I reached my 30's I started getting heavier & heavier going from a size 5 to eventually a size 16. It has been just horrible. I exercise regularly (conditioning, some cardio, yoga) but can't go too crazy on the cardio due to exercise/heat induced migraines. I think it is mainly the desk job that is killing me. 2 years ago I started to take weight loss seriously & began counting calories, taking fibre supplements (PGX), weighing food etc. I did really well for awhile and got within the 159-165lb range but then my weight loss stalled. This past summer I tried to conceive via IVF (which was cancelled in the end) and I think the hormones I was injecting plus the synthroid they had me on really had a bad effect on my body. By the end of Summer as was at the highest weight I've ever recorded - 177-178lbs. Not even my fat clothes fit me anymore. So now I am back trying to at least fit comfortably into my fat clothes again and maybe a few of the clothes I bought when I lost all that weight a few years ago.
My short term goal is to get to at least 169lbs (out of the 170s)
My long term goal - to get my BMI to just overweight (133-157lbs)
My Dream Goal - BMI within normal (100-130lbs)
