Trending line and Expected Target Date
Hello everyone. I love using this site and before using this, I would have a spreadsheet that I would track my weight and give me a graph similar to what we have here. One thing that I included, though, was a trending line that would basically give an expected target date.

I found this motivational when I saw this slip or draw closer. I just inquired about it to fatsecret, but want to see others take. I thought it was another nice device to have at my disposal.

Ion (Trion Z) Bracelets
Sorry for the delay in returning. The science is loosely based on positive and negative ions that affect the body. The magnets in the bracelets and necklaces are supposed to help with this balance. There is a lot of debunking these bracelets right now (not this specific one). I'm still feeling good with it. I don't seem to have lingering aches and pains from injuries or exercise I've had or experienced in the past. I'm still bouncing out of bed in the morning. If it is just a placebo effect, let me feel this way until I die!!

Ion (Trion Z) Bracelets
I'm saying that I'm not totally sold on it, but that was what I've experienced so far. Nice job on the weight loss mwessinger. I tend to agree with your comments, but I just wanted to give it a try. I'm a reasonable guy and I would assume you haven't tried one. It didn't improve my golf score, but overall I do feel better before, during, and after sleeping and workouts. In the months leading up to wearing the bracelet, I would be stiff (mostly back) getting out of bed. Haven't seen it since.

It is light and comfortable and 95% of the time I don't realize it is there. Usually it is when, and it is my only complaint is when I put on my winter jacket, it rolls up my wrist and pulls the hair on my forearm.

It is an ion based magnetic bracelet. Not the ones on TV. I actually never looked at those. Based on my research, the Trion Z bands and necklaces has been making its waves through the athletic community (pros and trainer). They haven't paid athletes to wear them either - they just do. The company doesn't do the whole balance testing and everything like the TV ones do.

I just wanted to see if any one else have tried it.

Ion (Trion Z) Bracelets
I'm not completely sold on this yet. I received a Trion Z active bracelet for Christmas. I did some research and asked for it. After a few nights of wearing it, I felt I slept better and felt more alert. This was before the eating better and working out.

I've been working out with far less pain the day after the workouts. Most days it is not even a factor. Still feeling great. I've been able to workout 4 times in the past 3 days. Coincidence, maybe. Considering my weight and reps were higher - maybe.

My weight has been dropping like a rock. A bit quicker than my last attempt but that is probably due to the more frequent workouts and quantity of pounds I need to loose.

I think the most noticable thing, and I didn't really notice until someone pointed it out. I golfed New Years Eve. First time in 3-4 months. Normally, my sides and back would be a wreck the next day after that long a layoff. Especially, since we slept in a hotel and drove 11 hours the next day.

Nothing. I felt no pain due to the golfing.

Starting to believe in it.

Has anyone else have any experience with these bracelets or have thoughts about it?

Recommendations for scales.....
I understand it is what you see in the mirror most of the time, but if I wanted to be a particular weight and weigh myself at home, what is the best scale out there?

I know the scales at my doctors or at the gym would be the best but not really partical to buy for the home.

The one I have now is not too reliable. Seems like it is 7 pound heavy compared to the doctor scale. It is not digital and seems to be influenced on how it is positioned on the floor and if I stand perfectly straight (ie. lean forward - weigh less, lean backward - weigh more). I've had it for years and has been on many moves.

Interested in what people have at home...
