I'm 26 years old, and realizing that I can't keep up with the lifestyle I used to lead. I've gained about 30 pounds in the past 5 years, and don't want to keep up this trend! Trying to start eating better and being more consistant about working out, making a lifestyle change instead of just losing weight quickly. My goal is to be down 30 pounds by the summer of 2015, but would love to get there sooner! :)

Why am I not losing weight?
I agree with rjhklein... I found out that I was underestimating the amount of some of the things I was eating, which meant I was consuming more calories than I thought I was. I've gotten in the habit of using measuring cups for everything, and just bought a food scale, which is helping me portion better.

I hate to say it but I don't think there's a way to do it without clicking each food individually...

Can you change the Rest and Sleep calorie burn?
I don't think that there's a way to do that unfortunately. I just assume that the values for calories burned are a little high for most activities and take that into consideration with the amount of calories I eat daily.

Need Help Please read
Welcome to FS! Feel free to add me if you would like, we have similar weight loss goals. I'm currently 156 and want to get down to 135. I find that journaling on here really helps, it keeps you accountable to yourself and your FS friends, and the comments and support that everyone gives is great for motivation and advice!
