I was very athletic until 23. Used to do weight training 4 times a week, martial arts training 2 hours a day. My usual weight was between 155lbs (4% fat) - 170lbs (10% fat).
During my graduate college study, I stopped training, and gained a lot of weight. My weight between the ages of 23-27 was between 180-230lbs.
I went back to serious training and dieting in 2005. I went down to 164lbs. Then again, quit the training because of work but kept my weight at 170lbs for 2 years.
I had a serious car accident and gained weight again. In the beginning of the August'09, I was 195 lbs.
Since I was successfully able to loose weight in short period of time whenever I want to, I wanted to make things little scientific and record everything. (thanks to this site, it is very easy).
I think Atkins is a very good diet for most people. I am modifying Atkins little bit and mixing it up with South Beach diet, and a diet most bodybuilders use.
