I'm 57 and weight has yo-yo'd from 135 after the birth of my lovely daughter to as high as 170 several times in my life.
Prevously successful diets have been Atkins, then Weight Watchers, but the weight never stayed off once I stopped the plan.
I know all this extra weight is unhealthy for my back and lately my feet have been hurting so much it's hard to walk. So much for exercising (which I hate anyway!).
I say I'm doing my own diet, but it is based on many principals from theDietSolution.com. It advocates organic items, lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats (olive oil & coconut oil), and a bit of lean high-quality proteins.
I'm following my version of it + all the research I've been doing for the past 3+ years. I know it will work, because I've been maintaining for the last year.
Now I just need to seriously kick it into gear and add enough exercise to start the fires burning off the fat.
Did I mention my workplace just started a health incentive plan with goals I need to meet to save $$$ on my health insurance premiums?!?!

I would be interested in your results. I know how healthy beans are, but ohhhh the gas, so I usually avoid them! Wondering if putting them in a smoothie would reduce that factor!

weigh in incorrect
I've been tring to change my original weight for the past 3 days in a row using method you suggested, but each day I get an error message. Last 2 days I've sent a reply to the error message. I guessed when I put it in, and I was heavier than I thought. Oh well. Maybe they will fix it soon!
