performance: losing 1.4 lb a week
I'm 36, from Wisconsin. In the last 10 years, I've gained 70 lbs. I was always active but I became very sedentary as I got older and my jobs changed. I've been on a journey to lose weight my whole life. In the fall of 2009, I really started to understand that I had been rebelling against my body by carbing up and trying to run. I learned about cortisol and carbs and stress and how all of those things make you resistant to weight loss, and keep you fat. I live a low carb lifestyle and actively practice Proformer Pilates, which I definitely attribute to my success. I'm 1/2 way to my goal weight, and am determined to not only be healthier, but look better.
