following: LA Weight Loss
performance: gaining 1.2 lb a week

I have been on LA weight loss since March 2007. I am 37 years old. I started the program at 211 lbs and a size 16 almost 18. It has been wonderful. I have lost 62 lbs and I am down to a size 6. I feel great with so much more enery and stamina!!

I am married - my husband has lost 17 lbs just by eating what I eat for dinner. He complained at first but now loves the fact that we are eating more healthy. We have 2 beautiful children, a son who is 7 and a daughter who is 3. They love going to LA weight loss and getting weighed. My son has gained 10 lbs since I started and we think that is great.

I have a busy career which I love most of the time but it is extremely stressful. This has been the first time in my life that I have succeeded with weight loss and it has been such a confidence boost.

This is definitely a scam....Do not order the free trial. I ended up paying 89.13 for mine and they continue to bill every month. I had to cancel my debit card because you can't get a hold of anyone to cancel membership. Go to the health food store instead.

Anyone MISS Being Big?
Well, I have lost almost 70 pounds and even though I don't miss being fat it does anger me a great deal at times at how people do react to me now. It was like before I was invisible and now I get more doors opened for me, more people who will make small talk with me or people are just nicer. Now, I realize this is a good thing now but why do we as a society treat overweight people as non-existent. That is what makes me sad.

As a therapist, I know that so much of our identity for some of us is our ourtwards appearance. If we know we look better and feel better, it will definitely show.

I also know that for some of us choosing clothes is now a bigger ordeal. Now we have choices whereas before we wore what fit and that wasn't very much.

I do miss being able to eat anything I want and not worry about it later on the scales. My biggest adjustment has been the fear of gaining it back. I definitely know that if I eat off plan for more than a day at a time, I see it on the scale. I am not going back though. I like the new me way too much. I also love all the clothing choices...unfortunately my bank account doesn't.

Biggest Loser?
I watched the show for the first time this season even though I used to watch it all the time. I have had to miss due to a committment on Tuesday. I was shocked by the language that Jillian used this season. The girls do have a point though.

question about the new plans
Do you have the old plan that you were on??? I know that when I originally signed up I was on the old plan then they switched me to the new plan and it was a disaster so I went back to the gold which I was on prior for awhile until I plateaued and after talking to their nutritionist I went to the LA express.

I think what happens to some of us that have been on the old plan and then switch to the new plan is that we use foods from both. I think the key is following the plan whichevr you are on completely. That is just my thoughts. Good luck and hang in there!!
