My name is James and I have been a Personal Fitness Trainer since 1999. I have a TRUE PASSION for what I do. I have helped all walks of life, from those looking to lose significant amounts of weight to those who have those last “5 to 10 lbs” they are trying to get rid of. No matter what fitness goal you have, I can help! I bring a fun approach and keep all the “dramatics” you see on TV out of it. None of that is necessary to get results and I get the best out of my clients by working on your strengths and developing areas that need working on.

After viewing a documentary on food and disease, reading and doing research and really taking a deep look at myself and the world today, especially the food and healthcare industries, my definition of what the terms "Healthy Eating and Living" have been changed for life.

We are bombarded daily with GMO's, additives, chemicals, etc in our food supply, leading to obesity, declining health and greater increases in disease and premature death. We have the power to take control and dictate what we consume and support. I started this blog to document our journey and help others realize you DO have a choice as to what you put in your body and that most diseases and conditions can be REVERSED with an all natural, as raw as possible diet and an exercise rich lifestyle.

“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food." - Hippocrates

"Ignore your health and it will go away." - (Not sure who originally said this but I found it on Dr. Saul's website!)

Contact me if in the Seattle area if you are in need of a Personal Trainer that will come to you! I supply all the equipment! Excellent rates!

Weight Loss and Ketosis
Hey everyone! I have been on Fatsecret for some time now and I am a personal trainer but I am now trying to follow a CKD diet (looking to compete in natural fitness bodybuilding next year) and want to know what everyone thinks about ketosis, etc. I started officially yesterday and didn't eat too great but kept my carbs below 30g. This is HUGE for me since I am so used to consuming 300+ carbs when lifting really heavy and hard. My plan is to stick to a calorie deficit to help with the weight loss and limit carbs to under 30-35g per day. Only exception to this is on heavy lifting days, I plan on consuming SOME carbs with my protein immediately after my workout but since glycogen levels will be pretty depleted, this should go to that and not get stored as fat (my theory anyway). Anyone have any tips or advise for a long time trainer but first time venturing into the Ketonic waters? I would greatly appreciate it! Smile
