My name is Sean. I joined fatsecret after finding the calorie app on my blackberry. I used to tell myself I would never get over 250, then when I flew past that I told myself I would never get over 300. I got on a scale a couple months ago and saw 335 and decided to try and diet again. I usually quit my diets after a few weeks of seeing no results and attribute it to being big boned. After almost two months on Fatsecret.com I'm down 35 lbs and still going strong. My goal is 250 but I like the way I'm eating and living now so if it continues to drop past that I'll just continue to let it.

Start Weight: 335lbs 6/1/10
1st goal: 300lbs 7/20/10
2nd goal: 275lbs ALMOST THERE
3rd goal: 250lbs
4th goal: 225lbs highschool weight

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I weigh at least every morning and often before bed as well. I like to see the fluctuations with requard to how hydrated I am and how much I ate. I only record weight on Monday morning weigh ins though.

How did you decide your ideal weight?
I picked mine out of experience of what used to feel right. In highschool I worked out all the time and got my bodyfat % down to 2.5% and weighed 190lbs at 5'10". I figured if I want to be around 10-15% I would land around 225lbs. My bar is set at 250 and like everybody else I'll just see how I feel and look when I get there.

When people don't notice your weight loss
The people that know I'm trying to lose weight say they have noticed but I have yet to have anybody that doesn't already know I'm dieting say a thing. I try not to focus on that because my scale and my clothes are telling me I'm losing it.
I agree though its nice to hear once in a while for some motivation.

I weigh every morning before I get dressed. It makes it a true weight and its the same time everyday.
