I am 36 years old and live in Kerikeri, New Zealand. I have a 9 month old daughter and a 14 year old son and a lovely partner who I may as well call another child.

Ive struggled with my weight my whole life. But 7 years ago I decided to diet and got down to 78kg which for me was amazing. I was 125kg. But then I fell pregnant with my first daughter Meika. She was stillborn. 2 months later I was pregnant again and I dealt with everything by eating my way through the pregnancy. 26 kgs later I had my baby girl and a very low self esteem and no clothes that fit.

So here I am again, determined to do even better than I was before. Ive struggled with a lot through the diet so far, not really understand a lot of what I am doing, but Im getting there. I have definitely grown my knowledge bank anyway.

Im hoping by my daughters 1st birthday in September that I will have reached my first goal of 76kg

Thanks guys! Cant wait til the next month now lol - it just seems like time goes so slowly when you are dieting!

Congratulations cyd69 that's an awesome achievement!

I need dinner ideas, low calorie ones - below 400 for everything. I am just so over salads.

Im a curves also and I hate the gym too but its very worth it for the end goal. Today I had my first weigh and measure after having been there for a month and I had lost 2.9% body fat and I had also lost 35cm off my body. That is what gives you incentive to go every day, its very worth it!
