Where can I find Quinoa in my local supermarket??
If your supermarket carries it it will be in the rice isle in the same part of the isle that the high quality specialty rice is. Think sushi rice, wild rice, couscous etc. You may need to ask your grocier to carry it if they don't have it.

What can I do to keep myself under controll when I'm starved but there isn't healthy food in the hou
maybe you need to have a serious talk with your parents about their eating habits and how their choices are effecting you. Not all foods that are healthy for you have to be expensive. Eggs, beans, rice, oatmeal, frozen veggies, in season veggies and tons more are all cheap foods and REALLY good for you. Skim milk doens't cost anymore than whole. The only place you might have to splurge is on whole wheat breads, but not much more than regualr bread with exceptiong of the really cheap store brand loaves that are made of bleached flour and are really squishy.
I hope that your parents want what's best for you and you might be suprised that they would be willing to change their diet too if you can show them it can be done for cheap.

Weight-Losing Games
When i'm running intervals I play games to see if I can get to a certain landmark before the interval is over. If I get there before the interval is over I choose another one and see if I can get there too.
