Hello! I am 34 yrs. old & live in Tennessee. I'm an RN in the Recovery Room. My only children are my 2 spoiled Tabby cats! I am happily married to a very supportive man for the last 4 yrs. I guess because of the happiness that we have shared, I never felt too bad about my weight. When we married, I weighed 213. I stayed @ the same weight for 3 yrs. When the scales hit 220 & I felt horrible, I decided it was time to do something! I have probably cut my calories in half & started exercising with my husband. I thank God for the strength He has given me for this journey! I am excited about the new life that I have ahead of me now!

Goal #3: Lose 50% of my goal, weight 185 - Met 6/1/08 Reward: New clothes!
Goal #4: Weight 170 - Met 7/16/08, Reward: New clothes!
Goal #5: Weight 159 & BMI 25 ("normal weight") - Met 9/19/08, Reward: Size 8 pair of pinstriped pants!

50 LB WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE - WELCOME
Well, I expected the gain today, so I can't complain too much! We had cookouts & parties with family this weekend & I went a little overbord! To say the least! Shock
Anyway, I am back on track today! That's what matters! Back to the gym I go! Wink

This Year vs Last Year
This year I can cross my legs like a lady with NO PROBLEM at all!
Last year I would have to catch my foot on something (my hubby's leg or the table in front of me) to keep my legs crossed! Mad

This year I listen to my body & eat healthy foods to fuel my body.
Last year I would eat whatever I wanted with no reservation of what it would do to my body (health or size!)

50 LB WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE - WELCOME
Good morning team challenge members!

My week had slow progress, but it ended GREAT! Down 3lbs. this week! Yeah! I will take that! It's a miracle that I lost weight this weekend! HALLELUJAH! That's even with having a piece of my niece's birthday cake! Shock I have been taking the stairs @ work for the last few months & I have been taking the stairs @ home for almost 3 yrs. now! I will estimate that I climbed about 40 sets of stairs in the last week.

Down 1.8lbs. this week! Cool I will take that & run with it! I changed up my workout routine this week & my muscles are still screaming @ me! Bad Grin I am sure that I would have loss more, but my muscles are retaining H2O to repair @ this point. Oh, and 2 church meals yesterday didn't help me any either! Confused Oh, well! Here's to a new week! Good luck everybody! Keep movin'!!!!!!
