My name is Alicia. I am married and have a 3yr old son. I work for Edward Jones and couldn't be happier! I started my weight loss journey last August after developing our most recent family pictures. I hadn't realized how big I had gotten until seeing it right there in matte finish (and the scale reading 207!). I was horrified, frustrated, depressed, and I knew I had to take control of my life right then and there. I started my journey by easing my way into weight watchers. I fell in love! I've completely transformed my diet and focus on lean protein, fruits, veggies, "good" fats, and complex carbs. Ive incorporated light cardio and walking/jogging into my exercise plan 3-4 days per week. I've lost 45 lbs and feel really healthy. I still have a ways to go, but I am determined to get there!

Garcinia Cambogia
I've struggled so much trying to transition into a high-protein/low-carb lifestyle. I've heard about garcinia cambogia and am in the process of researching this supplement as we speak. The most consistent information I've seen (comparing many sites/forums) suggests that it does help with appetite/craving control. I'd like to ask for any other feedback from people who have tried the supplement.

What are 3 snacks under 100 calories w/ more protein than carbs?
I would LOVE to know this as well! I struggle with carbs on a daily basis.

Sticking to it!
The biggest change I've made today was starting with a high-protein breakfast (2 scrambled whole eggs, 1 fat free kraft cheese slice, 1 whole wheat sandwich thin). I decided to go with fruit as my mid-morning snack. I had a healthy choice cafe steamer for lunch and I've got a baggie of raw carrots/broccoli as my mid-afternoon snack. For dinner it will be grilled chicken with roasted broccoli, carrots, and red pepper. I received so much amazing advice yesterday on small changes that I could make to my diet and I've implemented the changes today and I feel amazing!

Sticking to it!
Today is a good day. No, today is a great day! I stayed on track yesterday with only one splurge (late night granola bar craving). After working out yesterday, I slept better last night and it's left me feeling really good today. I've stuck to my plan today and actually had to make myself finish my lunch (usually I finish lunch and am left feeling unsatisfied). Hoping I can keep this up especially after seeing that I was 1.4lbs lighter on the scale this morning!Very Happy
