Cholesterol and fat concerns
Just from a real keto way of life , ie, not a test study, my doctor is happier with my cholesterol results than 5 years ago , I am now in ketosis and have been for 10 years or so, have lost 5 sts , mostfy a long time ago , and was once a type 2 diabetic who is know being considered misdiagnosed , blood sugar low and good closesterol perfect, I don't eat grains or any carbs if I can help it ,a bit of green veg or salad from time to time .

Low cholesterol is not immediate , patience

Carb Withdrawal
Wait 10 days , eat 2 eggs for breakfast, boiled , or fried in coconut oil or scrambled with butter , or more eggs if you fancy , after then if you keep your carbs low you will not miss them , it's like giving up smoking, xx

Low carb ? Any one 3 year journey ?
When I started my low carb high fat diet 3 years ago I did it because I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and advised that a low carb diet was the best way forward for me.

I read on various forums - and here - that if you think you are hungry you are only really hungry if you think you can eat a rare steak with salad.

I have followed that philosophy ever since,I have lost 4 stones, without ever being hungry, I don't eat grains sugars or fruits any more only what I fancy.

I have maintained my current weight for all of this year (2014) and kept my blood sugar below 6 (English measure) for the last 2 years.

I would just like to say to any one doubting Adkins or high fat diets then check out the most recent Publications especially the retraction by the mailydail

Would love to hear similar stories from lowcarbers who don't do fruit/grains/root veggies

Xxxxxx
