I have been overweight my entire life. At 50, I finally decided THIS IS IT!! My two children are in their early 20's and starting their young adult lives, and it is now time for me to focus on myself and what I want for my future. I want to be THIN and HEALTHY and FIT for the rest of my life!!! Soooo, I made a plan and began the Blood Type Diet and ZUMBA. What a glorious journey! It's changing my life! I am driven and determined, as I get closer to my goal weight of 130-135. That would be over 100 lbs. lost! :) I pray the Lord will open doors so that I can help others do the same. I am passionate about the Blood Type Diet and Zumba........they have been MY MIRACLE! I have learned so much on this weight loss journey! I want to be an encourager for all those people just like me who struggle with weight. You CAN lose weight!!! I have learned that in life there are some things that are "doable" and somethings just are not "doable"!..."KNOW YOUR DOABLES"!!! Reaching your goal weight is "DOABLE"!!! Just do it!! ...God bless you fellow dieters!...ZumbaToo :)

Low Blood Pressure and "Lemon Water"
Learned something MAJOR need to pass along to all my FS friends. I have been dieting GREAT and exercising GREAT and then BAM!!!...passed out at work and have had NUMEROUS tests done and ended up in hospital for 2 days this past week. I have learned I have LOW BLOOD PRESSURE!!! Whoa!Didn't see that one comin'! I wanted to warn u about something that I think made my low blood pressure worse and I didn't know I was doing anything wrong. I drink TONS of Water w/ Lemon cut up in it DAILY trying to get my water intake. What this was doing unknown to me was taking my salt less body and further dehydrating it. Lemon/Water acts as a dieretic. I was completely dehydrated by the time I went to hospital. Lemon/Water is GREAT if you have High Blood Pressure or Normal Blood Pressure but it has brought my body to a screeching halt and I began passing out. My Dr. said it will be 2 wks before I feel like myself again. We learn from each other FS friends and I felt this was so important to share. I'm doing better but just about the time I was crossing my weight loss finish line this happened and it has been SO scary! Day by day getting better and now on med for low blood pressure!...btw, I WILL cross the finish line but v-e-r-y c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y! Wink

Blood Type Diet
I have been doing the blood type diet since May and have lost 71 lbs. This is the best diet and I will continue to stay on it once I reach my goal somewhere around 135 lbs. I'm not a big breakfast eater but I grab a gluten free Quaker White Cheddar Rice Cake and put some mustard on it and a thin slice of 20 calorie jennie-o turkey breast and rush out the door and it works for me. Most of my day is benefical/neutral foods on the list BUT I do modify it some. Wishing you much success on your diet!Smile
