I'm a seasonal nursery worker so between March and October I walk and lift a lot. My husband farms so when I'm busy, and on the run he's busy too. We hit home and inhale all of the calories that we missed during the day. Then, right about the time that the holidays kick in my activity level drops. Over the past few years I haven't lost enough during the summer to offset the gain of the winter so I've had about a 5lb weight creep each year. Last year I felt horrible. My legs hurt so bad that I could hardly move by the end of the day. (We often walk between 5-15miles per day depending on business along with unloading trucks and loading peoples cars) I started having sinus problems that I suspect are caused by diet. Though weight loss is a big factor in helping me feel better physically I also need to stay in shape for my job. Mostly I need to just feel better about myself. Time to take care of me!
