Snack Ideas
I pigged out at the beginning of induction, for a few days until my body began to adjust to lack of them. Stick to the no carbs and it will come. Now I am working on portion control. I love italian food and especially pizza. A great snack is to heat up some olive oil in a pan then drop pepperoni in and let the edges brown, then add the mozzerella cheese over that still cooking and some garlic powder over that!!! Heat it and eat it. Great Atkins snack I ate every night.

Open Mouth....Insert Foot
On a positive note I think she was trying to help a pregnant lady out and trying to get her some help. What she did do was insert foot to mouth, what an appropriate title. That experience sucked. And the cashier should've known better. I'm willing to be she will keep her mouth shut next time. Take care and keep at it!

help
I read the Atkins book and your results are expected but not everyone's experience. The first 2 weeks is mostly water water. The third and fourth week it can be expected weight gain of 2 lbs a week for 2 weeks. The body is adjusting to the fluid imbalance. After that results expected are to lose between 2-3 lbs a week consistently. Keep in mind you will hit plateaus down the road. Keep at it and you will lose.
