Low Budget Diet?
If you buy Quaker's quick oats, a 1/2 cup has 150 calories, it's whole wheat, no sugar and quite filling if you mix it with chopped strawberries or bananas.

I also buy whole wheat pasta, and make sandwiches with whole wheat bread. You can make a tuna or turkey breast sandwich, with baby spinach (as part of your daily intake of vegetables) and they're both quick meals and fairly cheap to buy the baby spinach in a bundle.

Also buying dry lentils (split peas) is less than $1.50 for a lb bag and you can boil them in 40 min minutes along with some pasta and a quick stew or just make lentil soup.

If you try a farmer's market they have great deals on fruits and veggies that are also fairly cheap.

Looking for buddies!
I'm looking for buddies to help me stay motivated! I'm not preparing for a wedding, but definitely a different life from the one I've been leading so far.

Frusterated
I spoke with my nutritionist and she told me when I'm on the elliptical you should really be doing a minimum of 45 min, partly because the first ten minutes are body is burning the glucose in our muscles and not fat. After the first ten minutes the 'workout' really starts to kick in and our body says 'oh, we're working out! We need to find energy'. If you do the elliptical four times a week and mix in strength training (Pilates, yoga, lifting small weights in high repetitions) then you will begin to build muscle mass, which will help you burn fat. You should aim for moderate exercise for at least 30 min a day and work slowly up to six times a week.

Trying to do it all at once will shock your body and take you some time to adjust. Also, make sure you're not snacking unconsciously while doing other activities (you may forget to log it) and it adds up and you can't understand why you're not losing any weight. Also up your calories up to 1600 calories so your body doesn't become overly tired and slow you down during workouts.

And the biggest tip I can provide is drink at least 50 ounces of water each day. Not only does the water clean the toxins out of your system everyday (partly making you run for the toilet every couple of hours), but it 'fills' you up before meals. Apparently, our bodies can't tell the difference between hunger and thirst, so when you drink water you're helping your body to stay hydrated and abate cravings.

I haven't looked at your food journal, but are you eating lean proteins everyday? That helps your muscle to grow stronger and burn more fat. And also the water keeps your muscle working at their full potential. I hope this helps!
