Hello! I am a certified group fitness instructor who currently teaches Total Body; an endurance style weight training group class, yoga, and pilates. I have been teaching for over 4.5 years now. It is my passion to teach group fitness classes and encourage others to live a happier healthier life. Before I came into the world of fitness I was 25 lbs overweight. I became friends with a Personal trainor/Group Fitness Instructor and learned how to lose weight and get in shape. I was so excited about the change in my life I became certified to teach group fitness to others to help them attain their goals. I have struggled with my weight-gain once again upon moving away from my influence of healthy living and depression set in. I had gained over 30 lbs of extra weight after being prescibed antidepressants in only one years time. I gradually weaned myself off these horrible pills that were supposed to help me under a doctors care. I am now going to repair the damage these pills have caused me by exercise and diet like I had done before.I am sharing my very personal story as a way to allow you to relate to me and inspire you to join me on my journey back to a healthier lifestyle. Because I know that if I can do it "again", you can do it too!
