My name is Monique and I am a wife and mother of 5 children ages 8, 7, 6, 3, & 2. Actually 6 children if you count my husband! I have had a hard time losing weight because it seemed like every time I would start to lose I would end up pregnant again. My body never really got any time to recover from being pregnant. I am finally ready to do this for me and I need all the help I can get! Cooking for children is hard when you are trying to watch your weight and with a husband who is only 197lbs at 6'2" he has never had a problem with weight in his life. So it is hard or him to understand how I feel or what I am going through. I am determined to do this, and I need some help!

Could fasting or skipping meals help me lose weight?
Not eating actually slows down your metabolism. When you eat first thing in the morning it signals the body to start burning. When you skip meals it signals the body to go into starvation mode which it basically will store what you eat instead of burning it. Don't skip meals to lessen calories, just change the type of food, eat foods with lower calories instead of skipping for less calories.
