Hi Everyone....
I am a mother of 2 great kids. I am a chef who works in a long term care facility so I am around food all of my day.
I am like everyone else here trying to lose weight and be healthy for a life long plan.... as most of you.. we could probably write our own books on how to lose weight and what to eat and not..My biggest set back is how to keep it off.. you would think just feeling great would be enough but this has not proven true in the past. I am going to take my common sense and knowledge and use it for me and hopefully it will take me to my goal.
I am hoping to meet some amazing people to motivate me and help someone keep motivated to help them lose theirs....
I also am looking for great recipes and tips on how to keep the weight off...
I have gone up and down on the scale literally 4 times now from 249.5 to 140 ...I am getting dizzy and wondering what effect my health hazard ways have had on me........

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG
Exercise.....even if it is only walking...6-8 glasses of water a day...cut out as many processed items from your diet as you can...cut back on the carbs.. and try to eliminate sugar...Splenda is a good replacement...don't eat after 7 at night...switch to herbal teas (no caffine) diet pop should be limited to 3 a week...great attitude helps immensley (picture yourself the way you want to be) make a list of pros and cons for your weight loss...I bet the list is empty for cons LOL...Find a diet buddy...find fibre rich sources to help with the carb count..And keep on smilin......Very Happy

splenda
Splenda is the way to go....the Diabetes Association recommends that you use Splenda as a sweetner and NO Other...

What's Your Motivation...?
My story is the same as Calorie Killers....right to a tee....
Always that somthing special going on and no outfit that looks right to go to it...
Also heart disease and Diabeties is very prominent in our familys genetics...
All the right reasons I guess to want to get into a life long habit of healthy..
