Hi all, I'm Stephen. I spent some time in the military, afterwards I kept eating the same junk but not working out anymore. I was the same height and 132 pounds when I joined, now I'm 190. While I don't want to get down that low I would like to hit somewhere under 170 (not sure if 160 would be too low or not). I started changing my diet and exercising in November of 2010 but didn't do as well with it as I would have liked. I'm hoping this site helps me keep better track of how much I am eating. I've never kept a food journal before but I'm willing to try.

Frustrated with lack fo weight loss...what am I doing wrong?
Find a gym with a good scale with the body fat, muscle, and water weight read-outs. They aren't 100% accurate but they can give you an idea where you stand on each of those to help you adjust. Personally I would say that you are gaining muscle judging by what you have written. I actually lost more "weight" when I stopped working out with my calorie counting (other than brisk walks) because I stopped putting on muscle.
