Start Weight:(25 Mar 12) 206.0 lb
Current Weight:(05 Jun 13) 170.0 lb
Goal Weight:130.0 lb
following: The Primal Blueprint
performance: gaining 1.4 lb a week

Live in Durham Region Ontario with husband. Kids have moved out. Still have five cats, two horses.

I'm 47 years old and have struggled with weight all my life, but mostly in my adult years. Was diagnosed hypothyroid about 8 years ago. Recent change from Atkins (which felt natural to me) to no-grain concept of Primal Blueprint (feels even more right than Atkins) has had a positive effect on my thyroid -- my meds were actually reduced recently because it seems to be recovering! I'm the lowest weight now that I've been in over 12 years. Even my husband hasn't seen me looking this good. Not too far to my goal now!

What do you do for Urethra infection symptoms?
Found out that mild estrogen replacement, via vaginal suppository 2x week took away the problem. Being in menopause causes walls of bladder and vag to atrophy, get dry and irritated. The hormone replacement is localized and brings moisture back. I've had no problems since!!!

I think this is really sad. The person only asked a simple question, was not selling or making any claims and gets trashed....And stop calling people names, iits childish, it achieves nothing and detracts from the actual topic

Right on Jonny!! You're bang on.

I'm totally stunned by the nasty tone and comments in this thread. Shame on you people. Be supportive. If you can't do that then at least be respectful. And goodness if you can't be that, then say nothing or leave the forum. Wow. I'm sorry I read this. It totally un-made my day. Crying or Very sad

Help! travel for professional reasons. How do I stick to my diet?
Eat burgers and cheese, no bun. Salads with grilled chicken. Temptation is the more difficult challenge.

Food Problem
I totally agree with PeeFat. Eat more protein, fats and veggies. Get off the sugar spike roller coaster than insulin surges cause. This is what gives you cravings (from carb addiction). Once you're off that, food won't be your focus anymore. You'll need to be reminded to eat!!
