diet coke
Just my own personal experience...After years of drinking tons of diet coke my knees and shoulder became very painful. After stopping drinking diet coke the pain disappeared. Then, stupidly, three weeks ago I again allowed myself to get readdicted to diet coke. My weight loss stalled and my knee joints became very painful again. I also was experiencing muscle pain. I stopped drinking it again yesterday and the pain in my joints and muscles are gone and my anxiety level has decreased. Time will tell about my weight loss plateau. This is not just related to the caffeine, because I've been drinking more coffee to counteract the caffeine withdrawals. From my experience, I'm convinced that diet coke is very addicting and damaging to my body. I had heard this before and was in denial about its negative effects because I enjoyed it too much. But it's time for me to face reality that it is very detrimental to my health.
