I am a Desert Storm combat Veteran of the U.S. Military. I was a machine-gunner and a police officer. I have PTSD and Depression, so I am on a lot of medication, including medication and orthotics for other injuries and conditions due to my military service. My big frustration is that I cannot seem to shake the "weight gain" side effect of these medications that I am on. So, I am overweight. Obese, actually. I am 5' 2 1/2" tall and weigh 238 pounds. Disgraceful. My injuries and my medications prevent me from doing a lot of the physical exercise that I used to love to do, so it really gets to me. I avoid mirrors at all costs. I hate shopping for big clothing. I want my health back!!!
